The backgammon game is indeed a very fascinating game especially for all the modern players out there. This game is waving in popularity for hundreds or years already. The rules and instructions of this game is very easy to follow and almost anyone can play the game. The backgammon game is a game that must be taken seriously if you are up to play it for real money. A lot of people assumes that this game is just another gambling game, only a few realizes that this is much of a skill game and not mostly dependent on luck as compared to slot machines.

The goal of this game is that each player must get all his pieces to the home board and bare off all the pieces to the backgammon board. The first player to reach this goal will be crowned the winner. The movement of all the pieces is decided by the roll of the two dices. Like the chess and checkers, only a single player can move the pieces at a single time. The player who will have the first move is determined by rolling the dice to the right side of the backgammon board. The player who had the highest number have the chance to move both numbers. He can choose whether to move in one checker or move in two separate checkers which corresponds to the number of spaces that equates to the spot on both dice. In a tie situation. Both players roll again the dice until they end up having different numbers.

Each player must roll the dice first before making a move. The number shown by the dice determines the number of moves that the player must do. If he was able to roll 6 and 3, then the player will have a nine slot moves. You can have the freedom of breaking the moves up. By this, you can move one six spaces and three moves for the other piece. When a player rolled the dice and comes up with the same number on both dice, he or she can double the moves. Like for example, the dice showed a 6-6, the player can have four moves of six.

The checkers must be moved forwardly around the board depending on the numbers on the dice. The numbers shown by the dice suggests two separate moves. For instance, if the player rolled 5 and 2, then he may move the checker five spaces going to an open point and another checker is moved two space to the open point, or he could also choose to move a total of seven spaces to the open point granting that the intermediate points are also open.
